Anonymous edited Wikis

Wikis
a Wiki? Wiki?!?
A wiki is a webpage that can be edited quickly and easily-- you don't need to know programming code or have any technological skills greater than the ability to use a word processing program. If you can create a Word document, you can create a wiki.
Because wikis are so easy to use and edit, they're great tools for collaboration. Multiple users can add, change or delete information on a wiki. Wikis can be public or private and they can be password protected. Wikis also keep a "history" allowing you to see all the changes made by users-- you can even revert to earlier versions of your wiki page if you want. You can arrange to be notified in the event of changes to your wiki as well. Just because the wiki is collaborative, doesn't mean you have no control over it!

A Beginner's Guide to Podcasts (Greg Schwartz, from Sirsi Dynix Institute)
Podcasts versus audio files what makes a "podcast" different from any old audio file on your computer or your MP3 player is the subscription aspect. The distribution of an audio file using an RSS feed makes it a podcast. Though you certainly don't need to subscribe to a podcast to use it-- you can always play the files directly from the website. But why would you when you can have them delivered to your "door"?
Video: Podcasting in Plain English
What are podcasts good for?
Entertainment

I couldn't believe that time was up. It was so nice to see you in person. I believe I understood most of what you said. I know practice at actually working in a wiki or contributing to a blog will help me feel more confident about it. It's like anything else, the more you do it the more familiar you become with it.
Thanks again!
Thank you all for coming tonight! You've been great!
Thanks for a great workshop, I really learned a lot.
